Meet Chrissy

Chrissy Ratcliffe

Welcome!

My name is Chrissy Ratcliffe, a Registered Civil Marriage Celebrant I am finally where I need to be at home in Kingston, Tasmania!

I can't wait to explore more of this beautiful state and I am looking forward to meeting my wonderful couples over a glass of bubbles in my home or at a place of your choice to find out about your love story.

I also travel by special arrangement throughout Australia.

I love what I do… As a Marriage Celebrant, I get to take a very important part in that most wonderful of events in the lives of my clients – your ceremony.

Born in Ireland, I grew up as part of a large and close family. I lived in London for most of my adult life, working in accountancy. A redundancy offer helped me decide to pursue my dreams – to travel the world. In Australia, I met Scott, my husband born in Hobart, a member of the Defence Force. Being married to Scott, a Navy man, means that I have lived in cities throughout Australia including Cairns, Sydney and Melbourne. I have travelled around Australia and have had many wonderful jobs, but my dream was always to make people happy. On my return in 2011 to one of my favourite locations, Cairns, the tropical wedding capital……my dream came true, I became a Civil Marriage Celebrant and have now performed ceremonies throughout Australia.

I have a passion for life, a warm and effervescent personality, my greatest joy is bringing happiness to others. As a personal coach, I have experience in listening, observing and assisting people in providing solutions. Your satisfaction is my main motivation. I will commit myself 100% to making your day special, through consultation I will help with useful advice, tips and resources to make your day perfect!

If you feel that I am the celebrant that will make your day whether it will be your wedding, commitment, renewal of vows or name giving, contact me today and I will help make your day the best ever!

I support Marriage Equality in Australia and look forward to performing marriage ceremonies for those who have been deprived of this right.
